Twelve employers (2.87%) responding to the survey have a consumer-directed health plan, with a high dollar deductible for specific drugs. This represents little change in these types of drug plans since PBMI began tracking consumer-directed plan designs in 2007 when only four employers (1.79%) responded yes to the question. These are still small numbers of employers which mirror the slow but steady adoption of consumer-driven plans nationwide.
